Pasar Sera Merdeka

Pasar Sera Merdeka: Memori Malaya 1957 was an extraordinary celebration held from August 30 to September 1, 2024, at Rumah Pahang, Yayasan Pahang. This special event captured the spirit of Malaysia's independence, starting with a thrilling Merdeka countdown on the first day, where a roleplay actor, embodying Tunku Abdul Rahman, led the powerful "Merdeka" chant. The crowd eagerly joined in, making it a nostalgic and patriotic moment to remember.

Celebrity appearances by renowned host Ain Edruce and singer-songwriter Ippo Hafiz added excitement to the event. Visitors enjoyed a variety of activities, including the Wayang Pacak Patriotik, busker performances, the Pesta Jualan Durian Raub, a costume contest, poetry recitals, a unique Merdeka parade, a giant cake show, and traditional sports games, ensuring entertainment for all.

Sponsored by Proton Malaysia and held in collaboration with Yayasan Pahang, this event was a vibrant and memorable tribute to Malaysia’s independence, celebrating unity and patriotism with the people of Pahang.
